Reducing menopause problems by use of MULTIVIB system
Multicenter experience based pilot study.

In Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, India and Croatia there are about 150 licensed MULTIVIB therapists. This method is based on the pioneering work of Olav Skille, Petri Lehikoinen and Tony Wigram who co-operated in creating Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) from the start of the 1980ies.
VAT is amply described in literature and on Internet. In short it is the use of controlled frequencies between 30 and 120 Hz used for whole body vibration. VAT frequencies are NOT intended for binaural reception.
Advanced use of the MULTIVIB set is depending on the use of frequencies from the Audiopharmacy which is developed by Olav Skille during the last 20 years. The basic frequency set consists of 5 frequency CDs. Each CD lasts 23 minutes.
The newest software development has frequency clusters with very slow glissandi in up- and downward motion.
6 MULTIVIB clinics in Norway (Oslo and Trondheim) have treated 28 women with menopause related problems. Each participant was treated for 10 sessions, some of the sessions were double sessions ( 2 x 23 minutes). The following report is based on self-evaluation of symptoms before and after completion of 10 sessions. All 6 clinics were given the CD “Female “Secret” in order to carry out the project, which was initiated in order to test the effect of this special frequency combination for evaluating the effect on symptom reduction in the period of “flushing” etc sensations.
Toril Værnes Trøan was the leader of the project and was responsible for collecting data from the other clinics.

This initial report shows that Vibroacoustic equipment and the CD “Female secret” can effectuate valuable symptom reduction in women during the menopause onset. Most patients received VAT 2 – 3 times per week. Two of them got double sessions. The two with double sessions reported effects far below medium. 13 of 24 women wanted to continue VAT sessions. 6 of the 11 who did not want to continue said that they did not need VAT any longer. 8 of them were symptom free from one or more problems.
It is recommended to continue using this CD 1 – 2 sessions VAT per month maintenance therapy until the problems have subsided.
